Upcoming Minimum Wage Increase in Ontario August 04 2021
The Government of Ontario has announced that the minimum wage rates will be increasing on October 1, 2021. With an increase of 10 cents, the new rate will be $14.35 an hour. Specialized minimum wage rates will also take effect on October 1, 2021.

Minimum wage is going up in Québec April 13 2016
The government announced that on May 1 the minimum wage is going up 20¢ to $10.75 an hour; the minimum wage for employees earning tips is increasing from $9.05 to $9.20 an hour.

British Columbia Expects To Continue Minimum Wage Increase This Year April 06 2016
In a statement issues on Friday, March 25, 2016, Minister Shirley Bond announced the B.C. Government expectations in relation to the provincial Minimum Wage. As the Minister of Jobs, Tourism, and Skills Training and Minister responsible for Labour, Bond declared the Province’s intention to “keep [the wage rate] in line with [the province’s] overall economic growth”.
Bond declared that the Ministry of Jobs, Tourism, and Skills Training anticipates announcing a new Minimum Wage in spring, with change to officially take effect on September 15th of 2016.
British Columbia’s current Minimum Wage rate sits at $10.45 after increasing from $10.25 in September of the previous year. Currently, British Columbia’s wage rate is among the lowest in the country; the only province with a lower rate being New Brunswick ($10.30).

Mme Bond a déclaré que le ministère de l'Emploi, du Tourisme et de la Formation des compétences prévoit annoncer un nouveau taux de salaire minimum au printemps, dont le changement entrerait officiellement en vigueur le 15 septembre 2016.
En septembre de l'année dernière, le taux de salaire minimum de la Colombie-Britannique était passé de 10,25 $ à 10,45 $. Actuellement, le taux de salaire de la Colombie-Britannique est parmi les plus bas au pays; la seule province ayant un taux inférieur étant le Nouveau-Brunswick (10,30 $).
