Upcoming AODA Reporting Deadline (Ontario) June 02 2021
Ontario businesses and non-profits with 20 or more employees must file an accessibility compliance report by June 30th, 2021. The compliance report confirms that you have met your current accessibility requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
The requirements and deadlines you need to follow depend on the type and size of your organization:
- businesses or non-profits
- public sector organizations
- municipalities
- educational institutions (for example, boards, colleges, universities and schools)
- producers of educational material (for example, textbooks)
- library boards
Failure to complete the accessibility compliance report may result in enforcement, including financial penalties.
