Ontario: Employers, are you aware of the New COVID-19 Amendments? February 02 2022
On January 27th, the Government of Ontario released new amendments to the province’s re-opening plan to go into effect on January 31st , 2022. Employers should be aware of:
- The work from home mandate will be lifted
- Contact tracing will no longer be required
- Employers will no longer be required to maintain and produce contact records to Public Health authorities upon request

Ontario : Employeurs, connaissez-vous les nouvelles mesures en réponse à la COVID-19 ?
Le 27 janvier, le gouvernement de l’Ontario a publié de nouveaux amendements au plan de réouverture de la province qui entreront en vigueur le 31 janvier 2022. Les employeurs devraient être au courant de ce qui suit :
- le mandat de travail à domicile sera levé
- la recherche des contacts ne sera plus nécessaire
- les employeurs ne seront plus tenus de maintenir et de produire sur demande des registres de contacts aux autorités de santé publique.
